Questions we get a lot
What should I order on my first visit?
Start with one of our fan favorites: a pistachio or Biscoff latte, a strawberry matcha, or Yemeni chai. Add a halal empanada if you're hungry. The bacon, egg and cheese and the samosa empanada are good first picks.
Is everything at MOTW halal?
Yes. Our whole menu is halal, including the empanadas and the beef bacon in our bacon, egg and cheese.
How late are you open?
Until 9pm Sunday through Thursday and until midnight on Friday and Saturday, which makes us one of the few places downtown still serving coffee after a show.
What is Yemeni chai?
Black tea simmered slowly with cardamom and milk. It's spiced, creamy and a little sweet. Try it hot first, then iced.
Can I study or work there?
Yes. We have plenty of seating and long sessions are welcome.
Do you have sugar-free options?
Caramel, English toffee, coconut and vanilla all come in sugar-free versions for our classic lattes.
Do you cater?
Yes. Coffee, chai and pastry trays for offices, campus groups and events. Request a quote and we'll get back to you by email.
